Shark Vacuum:Substance and Style

With the Shark vacuum line, you don't have to choose between substance and style, for form over function. You get great performance, high functionality, simplicity of design, and more value for your dollar. With so many of us more concerned than ever about how to make a dollar stretch further, the Shark family of products makes sure that you get the best value out there for a quality household appliance that will perform beyond your expectations, year after year.

Regardless of whether you have to work over tile, carpeting, linoleum, hardwood flooring, slate, or whatever flooring surfaces you find in your home, the Shark Navigator, the Shark Navigator Lift Away and the Navigator Vac Then Steam will be able to do the trick. You can know that whatever your cleaning needs may be, the Shark has the right appliance for you, almost as if you have a custom made machine made to make your own life easier.

Not only do these fantastic products make daily chores easier to complete, they are also help contain allergies and keep you and your family healthy. The Navigator Lift Away can trap 99.9% of allergens. That's a tremendous help to your respiratory system. The Vac-then-Steam cleans with the power of water--you don't have to worry about coming into contact with harsh and hazardous cleaning chemicals which clean a mess which might be unsightly through the aid of a product that is more dangerous to use than to live with the mess. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure that sounds like an awkward deal. Steam not only allows you to loosen dirt which a vacuum alone wouldn't be able to pick up, it also sanitizes. Not only does using this product make your home feel more clean and cozy, you can also know that you're living a healthier life because of a vacuum! Who would have known?

Many of us are looking to optimize our living spaces, and the sheer maneuverability of these designs means you don't have to worry about accidentally bumping into the leg of a table, a couch, or the edges of an entertainment system because you weren't able to swivel quickly and easily around a corner or a tight space. That's a worry you won't have to deal with any of these Shark products--they're relatively lightweight (especially the Lift Away which lives up to its name), agile, and easy to direct, no matter what kind of space you find yourself in.

Our households are looking for better values without having to sacrifice performance. The Shark family of Vacuums delivers with top marks. Competitively priced with other similar products on the market, with value added attachments often part of the unit itself, Shark has no doubt gotten it right, and for us the consumers, that's a very good thing.

Shark Steam Mop:Turn a Cleaning Task into a Work Break

Most likely, you're a little like me and you don't want to have your day revolve around tidying up the house, you don't want to have to worry about whether or not you're going to have to use any gloves to protect yourself from hazardous cleaning chemicals, and you don't think that the act of mopping sounds like something particularly enjoyable. One of the messiest and most inconvenient cleaning chores around the house--mopping--is done with less ado and the minimal amount of time with the Shark Steam Mop. The ease of use and the functionality of this sleek miracle worker makes mopping up a cinch and keeping the house clean something you can turn into a break, rather than a chore.

Nothing could be simpler than knowing you can clean the house with little more than a reliable connection to a water source, and that shouldn't be too difficult to come by in this day and age of the modern American home. You don't need to worry about paying out of pocket for some downright toxic cleaning agents, deal with the unpleasant smell of bleach or ammonia, and you don't need to clear the decks of any children or pets to know that you can get on with the mopping process, made so much easier by this steam mop. The addition of modern technology means that your mop is no longer just a mop. Long gone are the days of messy mop heads or slimy sponges. The Shark Steam Mop has three different settings for scrubbing (those deep, tough to get crevices between tiles will sparkle!), dusting (this takes care of picking up the remains of day to day living) and mopping (what would a mop be without a mop function, right?) Clean-up is simple, and you don't have to feel like you're pushing around a bucket that might be spilling dirty water on what you might have just finished cleaning! The power of steam is enough to tackle jobs both large and small, and you can get on living the rest of your life, knowing that the soda your guest might have just spilled will be cleaned up so no sticky, sugary residue remains to attract dirt when you've already forgotten about the spill itself.

A STEP UP

Pet hair might not be the best kind of debris for a mop of any kind to tackle, and unfortunately this mop doesn't escape that. It's a step up from blowing the hair around with a vacuum cleaner, and the dusting setting can pick up most of the hair, if not all. There are little messes and spills that happen even if you're fastidious about keeping a clean house, and the Shark Steam Mop helps you to clean up after yourself and your family so it becomes one less thing to worry about. No worrying about having to touch chemical cleaners, no worrying about having to spend the afternoon scrubbing on your hands and knees--this appliance makes up for its considerable cost in the fact that it truly is an investment in a cleaner home that requires very little effort on your part.

Shark Navigator Lift Away: An Unexpected Pleasant Surprise

Now, there’s very little reason to think that anyone in their right mind would think that finding more dirt than they were looking for would be anything but a bad thing. But after using the Shark Navigator Lift Away, that’s exactly what happened. After realizing that there had really been that much debris lying around on my couch, on the floor and those areas behind furniture I’d rather ignore, I was a little dismayed at the fact that despite my reasonably clean personal habits, things had come to such a dusty pass. The pleasant realization came afterwards that I actually was able to clean all of that up with this vacuum, and there was no need to get on my hands and knees to do very much detail work or even break much of a sweat!

LIKE A DREAM

Even though the model might seem pricey at first, when you consider all the built-in features and conveniences, this investment will definitely pay off in spades. It swivels much like its (more expensive) competitors on the market, and it’s definitely powerful--like I said before, I didn’t know exactly how much dust and debris had built up, even though I wouldn’t be able to tell you with the naked eye that anything was on the ground in the first place, and with any vacuum worth its weight in suction, the machine glides along like it’s being pulled forward by magical cleaning helpers. I know the image is a bit extreme, but this thing works like a dream. It’s the stuff you see animated in commercials, except without the voiceover. Not that I would necessarily say that house cleaning can really be anything I would consider myself doing as a hobby or as something I’d do for fun, I can’t deny that I got a little bit of a child-like pleasure in seeing that I had collected so much dirt so easily. I guess it hearkens back that more primal, hunter-gatherer instinct, odd as it may sound.

BREATHE MORE EASILY

I’m not saying that I have bad allergies or anything, but I did notice that I was able to breathe more easily after using the Shark Navigator Lift Away. I know it sounds silly, but I think that I can notice the smell of a room better right after it’s been vacuumed: it’s definitely something fresh, like the smell of a front lawn after it’s been mown or leaving the house after the first rain. It might be something a little more domestic than that, but I know that since I’m picking up so much dust, the lungs of me and my family can’t fail but be grateful.

Oh yeah, and did I fail to mention that I don’t need to spend any more money on vacuum bags? If I haven’t, I’m mentioning it now. All you need to do to empty this baby is detach the canister (carefully now--you don’t want all of your hard work to float way back on to the floor), and dump the contents into the trash. It’s really that simple. Easy clean up, easy to use, and easy to transport. There really isn’t much more you can expect from a unit this powerful and at such a reasonable price compared to similar uprights on the market.

Shark Navigator:Checking Off The List

You want a clean home. Check. You don't want to devote that much time and energy to cleaning. Check. You don't want to spend an obnoxious amount of money to do something you know shouldn't be that expensive to do. Check. The Shark Navigator is the quick way to get the job of vacuuming done at a high rate of efficiency. What you get out of what you put in far outweighs this unit's considerable price.

When you're looking at the bottom line, this unit more than competes with units that are more highly priced. The Shark Navigator comes with value-added attachments to help you get to all the places you'd rather forget you needed to clean. From it's solidly constructed body to the ability to swivel, this vacuum does it all. You can get rid of all the pet hair, children's messes, accidental spills, and daily dust that life throws your way. Even if you might be intimidated by what looks like a hefty weight, this machine deceives in the most pleasant of ways. You get all the functionality of an upright at a considerably lighter weight. You never have to worry about taking out a smelly collection bag, because this model runs without one: all you have to do is empty the canister, and cleaning up after your own cleaning up is a snap. You never have to worry again about cleaning up pet hair because the brush attachment that comes with the Navigator takes care of that for you. Yet another reason why this unit is more than its weight in gold.

HOME BASED RACE CAR DRIVING

And if you have a few rooms to clean with different kinds of flooring, you don't have to worry about that either: with the simple flick of an easily accessible switch, you can go from hardwood, to carpeting, to tile, to linoleum. Lots of upholstery to clean? Not a problem. All you have to do is attach the handy tool they've included and you get between all the cushions, behind the couch, and underneath. Maneuvering around corners with this unit makes you feel like a veritable race car driver taking corners at high speeds clearing all competitors out of your way with the greatest of ease and only a fraction of effort, and that's thanks to the rubberized wheels which make this unit so much more easy to handle than your traditional vacuum.

Don't we all want to get on with the more important topic of living cleaner, hassle-free lives? With the Shark Navigator, you never have to devote any more time than necessary to living in a comfortable and clean house. With everyone talking and fretting about the consequences of global pollution, you can at least know with security that your own home is as cozy as can be, your pocketbook doesn't have to take much of a hit, and that you can be the star of the show.

SHARK VAC-THEN-STEAM:CREATING A NEW ROUTINE

Two for the price of one: that's how I basically see this item. You can clean virtually any kind of flooring in the house without having to switch between a vacuum and a mop: you get the best of both worlds. The Shark Vac then Steam covers all your bases--a vacuum that does the job and then a steam mop to give those floors an extra bit of shine or clean up the residue left behind after a spill so you don't have to feel your feet sticking to the floor (or there's always the alternative solution of hiding the whole thing under a discreet area rug, but let's assume that you don't want to have to "discover" the mess later on and take care of it now).

There's enough steam in one filling of the storage container to give a medium sized room a decent once over, though you might have to fill up the tank if you want to spot check a couple places. The price of the unit makes a lot of sense if you know you have to clean lots of area that goes over hardwood flooring or a similar surface, though I'm sure someone wouldn't be looking at this product if they didn't have anything to mop in the first place. This unit comes in really handy if you happen to have a lot of the older kind of linoleum that has a lot of detail work in the flooring itself where dirt can start building up in the crevices over years of normal use, same goes for if you have tile--this really helps twice over by picking up the larger bits of dirt the first go round with the vacuum, and the steam penetrates deeper to clean stuff that you would have to use some kind of liquid cleaner to access. This product really saves me from ever having to do the whole "sponge-in-a-bucket" routine--it's like having the ease of mopping without having any of the mess.

GETTING WITH THE TIMES

One of the few drawbacks with this unit is that it might be, well, a little loud. You might find yourself rushing through the vacuuming to get to the more tranquil act of mopping. Since it goes at the speed of a regular vacuum, you probably won't have to do much work of actually vacuuming if you're going over a hard surface, and you'll have to endure the sound of the vacuum probably a lot less than you think. You'll pick up most of the larger stuff pretty quickly, and then it's on to the steam mop, which is obviously much quieter. The Shark Vac-then-Steam might seem a little pricey, but you're really paying for the ease of having two units in one, and if you have a lot of surface area to clean, it's worth the investment and saves you the time of having to switch between two appliances--you're really paying for the convenience of being able to do two jobs with one unit. Clean-up and maintenance is reasonable, and you get to save the space in your closet for something other than your floor cleaner and the space under your sink for something other than the chemicals and bucket you might need were to you to use a less technologically advanced method.
